Marcus Gayle

The RBA are delighted to announce that we will be sponsoring Marcus Gayle's kit for the up coming season.

Gayle, who started his career at Brentford in 1989, has made over 600 senior appearances for four different clubs including Rangers and Watford.

He is, however, best known for being an integral part of Wimbledon's 'Crazy Gang', for which he made 198 league appearances between 1994-2001, scoring 37 goals in total. He also made 14 international appearances for Jamaica and played in their only ever World Cup win, a 2-1 victory over Japan in France '98.

Dubbed as 'the replacement for Jason Lee' and now 35 years of age, Gayle's experience could yet prove invaluable, as the Shots once again attempt to push for promotion.

At the end of last season it became apparant that the team badly lacked any sort of team spirit, and some fans believed it was this that contributed to some of the many poor performances on the pitch. Hopefully by bringing in big characters like Gayle into the dressing room, that team spirit willl be reignited.

Here's to wishing Marcus and the rest of the team all the best for next season. Up the Shots!
